Monkey Business

I don't often use the term "cute" but the baby monkeys on the playground swings could not be anything else.  The chains proved to be a great climbing frame and the upper bar a precarious balancing beam.  An older monkey joined in too using the swing for the intended purpose and sat swinging.  Unable to tear myself away from the show and let's face it, baby monkeys are always worth watching, I almost missed the Indian Giant Squirrel that we had come here to find.  Fortunately he was not in any rush and the tree right above me was the gold mine of berries that he was searching for.  The monkeys were even more interested in the squirrel and his big bushy tail than we were.  The juvenile monkeys climbed up the trees chasing the poor squirrel and trying to grab his tail with their little hands.  The squirrel didnt seem too concerned though and put up with the nonsense only moving out of the way when the monkeys became too tiresome.  The whole comedy was a delight and a privilige to witness.
